Marc Baliotti is a General Partner at Mare Liberum. Prior to joining Mare Liberum, Marc was a Senior Managing Director at AE Industrial Partners, an Aerospace, Defense & Government Services focused alternative asset manager. Marc was the portfolio manager for AEI's Structured Solutions Fund, which was a growth capital strategy. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2018, Marc spent over 13 years at GSO Capital Partners where he was a Managing Director in the Performing Credit Group. His experiences while at GSO included control buyouts, mezzanine financing, formation of specialty finance companies, and managing certain non-performing investments. Previously, Marc was with Morgan Stanley, DLJ Merchant Banking and AIG Highstar Capital. Marc earned a BS in Economics (with distinction) from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Marc has served on the Boards of Directors of over 20 companies, including American Ref-Fuel, ArrMaz Chemicals, Bluewater Thermal, Case Consulting, Global Jet Capital, Seanair and ThayerMahan (observer).
